These Wings came about after speaking to a lovely lady in California, we had been communicating for a while as she has brought many of my paintings. I had sat as I do with three colours but they just weren’t feeling right – she was telling me about her visit to a Indian Reservation & what amazing energies she had felt – while we were talking I found I had completely changed the colours & now I had these amazing reds, oranges & yellows in front of me knowing these were ideal for the wings I had sketched – she then sent me some photos of a few paintings that someone who lived on this Reservation had painted – they were beautiful colours of the sunset – realizing then they were just like what I had in front of me.

When finishing this painting I felt they look like the side view of two Native Red Indian Headdresses connected together ‘Red Indian Wings’ – I could feel the energies of the Reservation all around, so strong & powerful – sit with these Wings & feel the energy deep within your root chakra – place your bare feet on the earth – grounding, feeling safe, self-preservation – at one with Mother Earth.
