Nerites brother to Nerea – Such a strong connection here – Our emotions swirl around us sometimes like a whirlwind – These two together are double the strength in helping us to move forward – go with the flow – knowing we have the wisdom & power within & their help to back us along the way – with that belief we can manage our emotions, moving forward, flowing freely & in harmony together as one.

I came to find these two when I questioned why the shellfish he was holding & also thinking he was maybe too pretty to be a male energy. Nerites was described as a stunning beauty when a young boy, he was the only son of Nereus & Doris, I then understood why he looked ‘pretty’ another story told is that Aphrodite fell in love with Nerites & when the time came for her to join the Olympian Gods she wanted him to go with her, but he refused preferring to stay with his family, so she transformed him into a shellfish, so hence the shellfish he’s holding – I love it when it all comes into place. It’s said Nerea pleaded with Aphrodite to turn him back – Family – Emotions – Bonds - Freedom – what do you feel here……
